Location
Port Saint-Pierre sits on the Var coast in Hyères, between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, and faces the Golden Isles of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Boats to Port-Cros and Le Levant leave from the port of Hyères, while boats to Porquerolles leave from La Tour Fondue on the Giens peninsula. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts on the Riviera in the 19th century.
Getting there by public transport
From Toulon, take the TER train to Hyères station, about 20 minutes. From Marseille Saint-Charles, allow about 1h15 to 1h30 with connections. From the town centre stop Jean Jaurès, take Réseau Mistral bus line 67 to the port, which takes about 18 minutes.
