About the boat

The Lagoon 42 is a 2019 cruising catamaran measuring 42 feet (12.9 m) in length. Built by Lagoon, a French catamaran brand of Groupe Beneteau, in Bordeaux, it offers 4 cabins, room for up to 10 guests, a fridge, a kitchen, a sun shade, toilets and a 27 hp engine.

Location

Port Saint-Pierre is in Hyères (Hyères-les-Palmiers), on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez. From the port you face the Golden Isles: Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts of the Riviera in the 19th century.

Getting there by public transport

From Toulon, take the TER train to Hyères station, which takes about 20 minutes. From Marseille Saint-Charles, connections take about 1h15 to 1h30. From the town centre, Réseau Mistral bus line 67 runs from the Jean Jaurès stop to the port in about 18 minutes.

A skipper is available for an extra fee of 270 euro per day, and a boat licence is required to rent this catamaran.
