Built in 2023 by Cantieri Capelli, the Italian yard founded in 1974 at Spinadesco near Cremona, the Tempest 1000 is a 34 ft (10.4 m) RIB with a 600 hp engine. It takes up to 10 guests and has a fridge, kitchen, shower, toilet and towels on board.
Location
Golfe-Juan lies in the bay between Cannes and Cap d’Antibes, as part of the town of Vallauris. The town has two harbours, Port Camille Rayon and the Vieux Port. In 1815 Napoleon landed on its beach on his return from Elba, the start of the Route Napoléon.
Getting there by public transport
From Cannes, take Envibus line 18 to Golfe-Juan/Vallauris. Golfe-Juan station is on TER line 8, with trains about every half hour towards Mandelieu, Cannes, Nice and Ventimiglia. Coach line 620 from Nice stops at Square Nabonnand, and line 82 runs every day from Nice airport to Golfe-Juan/Vallauris.
