The Mare Sea SP170 is a 2008 RIB, 7.5 m (25 ft) long, powered by a 250 hp engine and approved for up to 15 guests. It has a Garmin GPS, an electric windlass, an L-shaped rear seat, a Bimini top and large sun pads at the bow and stern.
Location
Golfe-Juan sits in the bay between Cannes and Cap d’Antibes, part of the town of Vallauris. The town has two harbours, Port Camille Rayon and the Vieux Port, which makes it a practical base for trips along the coast. In 1815 Napoleon landed on the beach here on his return from Elba, the start of the Route Napoleon.
Getting there by public transport
From Cannes, take Envibus line 18 to Golfe-Juan/Vallauris. Golfe-Juan station is on TER line 8, which runs to Cannes and Nice with trains about every half hour. Coach line 620 between Nice and Cannes stops at Square Nabonnand, and line 82 links Nice airport with Golfe-Juan/Vallauris every day.
