The Salpa Soleil 28 is a 30 ft (9 m) RIB built in 2019 by Salpa, an Italian builder near Naples that started in 1985 with Antonio and Enza Pane. It has a 300 hp engine, a XL sun shade, a swim platform, a stainless steel swimming ladder, and a kitchen with sink, fridge, shower and toilet for up to 8 guests.
Location
Cannes sits on the French Riviera between Nice and Saint-Raphaël. The Vieux Port lies next to the Palais des Festivals and below Le Suquet, the old town on the hill, and boats leave from here for the Lérins Islands, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat, a few minutes offshore. The Cannes Film Festival has been held at the Palais since 1946.
Getting there by public transport
Cannes station, Gare SNCF de Cannes on rue Jean Jaurès, is served by TGV and TER trains along the coast. From the station it is about a 7 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals and the Vieux Port, or you can take Palm Bus line 1 between Gare SNCF and Gare Maritime, about every 5 minutes.
