About the boat
The Lagoon 570 is a 57 ft (17.5 m) catamaran built in 2008 and fully refitted in 2023, with four cabins, a 50 hp engine and room for 18 guests. Lagoon is a French catamaran brand of Groupe Beneteau, building cruising catamarans in Bordeaux since 1984.
Location
Cannes sits on the French Riviera between Nice and Saint-Raphaël. The Vieux Port lies beside the Palais des Festivals and below Le Suquet, the old town on the hill, and boats leave from here for the Lérins Islands, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat, a few minutes offshore. The Palais des Festivals has hosted the Cannes Film Festival since 1946.
Getting there by public transport
Cannes station (Gare SNCF de Cannes, rue Jean Jaurès) is served by TGV and TER trains along the coast. It is about a 7 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals and the Vieux Port, or you can take Palm Bus line 1 from Gare SNCF to Gare Maritime, about every 5 minutes.
