About the boat

The Zodiac Medline 6.8 is a 22 ft (6.8 m) RIB built in 2021, with a 200 hp engine and room for 8 guests. Zodiac is a French company founded in 1896 and known for its inflatable boats, and the owner notes that the hull stays steady even in rougher water.

Location

Port Vauban is one of the largest marinas in the Mediterranean, with about 1,500 berths, and lies between Cannes and Nice. The old town of Antibes with its ramparts sits right next to the harbour, and superyachts moor at the Quai des Milliardaires below the star shaped Fort Carré that overlooks the port.

Getting there by public transport

Antibes station, served by TER and TGV trains along the coast between Cannes and Nice, is about a 15 minute walk from the port.
