About the boat

The Capelli Tempest 530 is a 5.4 m (18 ft) RIB built in 2020 by Cantieri Capelli, an Italian yard founded in 1974 that builds RIBs and motorboats at Spinadesco near Cremona. It has a 70 hp engine, seats up to 4 guests, and comes with a sun shade and equipment for beginners.

Location

Port Vauban in Antibes sits between Cannes and Nice and is one of the largest marinas in the Mediterranean, with about 1,500 berths. The old town and its ramparts lie right next to the harbour, and the star shaped Fort Carré overlooks the port. Superyachts moor at the Quai des Milliardaires below the fort.

Getting there by public transport

Antibes station, served by TER and TGV trains along the coast between Cannes and Nice, is about a 15 minute walk from the port.
