About the boat
The Capelli Tempest 775 is a 7.8 m (26 ft) RIB with a 250 hp engine, built by Cantieri Capelli, an Italian yard founded in 1974 at Spinadesco near Cremona. It takes up to 8 guests and comes with a fridge, shower, sun shade, towels, snorkeling gear and a paddle board.
Location
Port Vauban sits between Cannes and Nice and is one of the largest marinas in the Mediterranean, with about 1,500 berths. Superyachts moor at the Quai des Milliardaires below the Fort Carré, a star shaped fort that overlooks the harbour. The old town and its ramparts lie right next to the port.
Getting there by public transport
Antibes station is served by TER and TGV trains running along the coast between Cannes and Nice. From the station it is about a 15 minute walk to Port Vauban.
About the skipper
A skipper is available for an extra 200 euro per day, but a boat licence is required if you take the helm yourself.
